The ECHO Performing Arts Festival, now in its 10th year, brings artists from native cultures across the country together for a collaborative performance of music, dance, storytelling, and humor. This year's festival entitled, Celebrate –– Song, Dance & Story!, features 6 native artists, including Mashpee Wampanoag actor Annawon Weeden, native Hawaiian dancer Ani Lokomaika 'i Lipscomb and Iñupiaq Eskimo musician Allison Warden.

Celebrate –– Song, Dance & Story! presents traditional and innovative stories, songs and dances that explore the challenges, triumphs and values of Native and immigrant communities. The Performing Arts Festival tours nationally and features artists from the ECHO (Education through Cultural and Historical Organizations) partner regions of Alaska, Hawai’i, Mississippi and Massachusetts.

This performance is recommended for visitors of all ages and is FREE with museum admission. Related art activities will take place in PEM’s Art Studios from 1-3 pm.
