The Hope Scholarship Fund (HSF), an Andover High School Club, is having a benefit on March 6th at 2 pm in the J. Everett Collins Center. The HSF raises money to send to the Dandelion Middle School near Beijing, China, a school that serves the children of migrant workers in the area. More specifically, the money is used to give scholarships to the youths in the surrounding area whose families cannot afford to pay for schooling (more at www.hopescholarshipfund.org).

The March 6th benefit is our big eventfor the year. A Chinese folk arts group (more at www.folkartboston.org) is coming to perform. Their group aims to spread knowledge about the Chinese culture in the Greater Boston area. Afterwards they will be demoing the Chinese yoyo, lion dance, and traditional dances! We would love for you all to join us!

TIPS↑ top

  • There are several parking lots ranging in distance from the Collins Center. As you drive down the Andover High School driveway, immediately to your left is a parking lot which is a 5 minute walk to the Center. If you continue further down the driveway you will come to an intersection; take a right into a small parking in front of the Collins Center, or if that is full, take a right into a much larger parking lot. We should have people outside helping with directions, should parking get tight.
