Explore the park with your drawing pad! Join local artist Mardi Reed in a walking and sketching tour of the park. You'll see old stone ruins, Puddingstone boulders, and maybe even a hawk in the park's 130-year-old oak forest. See the spectacular views from Schoolmaster's Hill where Ralph Waldo Emerson once lived and sheep used to graze.

Bring a drawing tablet, pencils, eraser, sharpener, and water bottle. Wear walking shoes and expect to be surprised by this magical landscape in the heart of the city. Artists of all levels welcome. Sponsored by the JP Artists Association and the Franklin Park Coalition. Meet at the Glen Road Entrance to the park at the end of Green Street in Jamaica Plain.
