Join us for the July 8th AHA! & see what unfolds when KIDS RULE Downtown NB! (This is also happens to be the kick off to our EVERY Thursday evening summer long celebration!) Hit the streets and enjoy a night jam-packed with summer sounds, hands on activities for the kid in all of us, a mini circus, a Solstice skate jam, plus unique shopping & good food at our many boutique stores & eateries!

& remember AHA! doesn’t end at 9pm! Enjoy entertainment and food at many AHA! partner restaurants after the clock strikes nine.

Kids Rule! The Double Vision mini circus is sure to ‘Wow’ with mimes & music, comedy & characters. “Jump, Toss & Spin” with the National Park’s 19th Century Ladies. “Build a Historic House” is a hands-on activity presented by WHALE. There’s Deck Tours & a fishing activity onboard the Schooner Ernestina. & don’t forget the Ocean Explorium home to seahorses, jelly fish & so much more!

Looking for art? There are over 15 new & continuing shows to see at our downtown galleries, studios, stores & restaurants, including Taking Flight: The Birds of J.J. Audubon at the NB Art Musuem & EMITime: a one year anniversary exhibition at Navio.

Talks your thing? Check out the “Meet the Filmmakers” Lecture Series at Artworks! or 'The Essential Islands: The Azores, Cape Verde and the West Indies' at the NB Whaling Museum.

Love live music? Check out the ever popular Open Mic at Cafe Arpeggio. Enjoy music by Showstoppers & DOLLHOUSE in the RJD garden. Centre Street Sessions, the summer tradition featuring phenomenal local jazz music, features Ron Murray and Vuelo. & don’t forget AHA! After 9 which features live music at many of your fave Downtown eateries on the late night side of things.

Just want to have fun? Check out the NB History song & video created by the Youth Ambassador Program or the SouthCoast Children's Theater performing on the steps of the Library.
