This summer, Raising Aspirations presents its 1st Annual Youth Summer Concert Series to showcase the many talents that the youth in Boston possess in Music, Dance, Drama, and Art! This exciting concert series is a two-day event recurring throughout the summer, twice in July and once in August.
“Boston’s youth does a lot of positive things”, says Shadina Taste-Perry, one of the dance performers who will be showcased in this series. “The stupid street violence should not be how all the kids in Boston are defined”.
Well said; so the staff of Raising Aspirations invites everyone to support our next generation of dancers, musicians, actors/actresses, and artists at the second showcase of the series, in partnership with 11th Annual Roxbury International Film Festival on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the Hibernian Hall, 184 Dudley Street, Roxbury, MA.
