The Boston Center for the Arts invites parents and children ages five and older to participate in Families Connect at the BCA, an afternoon of workshops that foster creativity, self-expression and artistic development in a fun and nurturing environment.

Join us for our next Families Connect on Saturday, October 2.

Rain! Snow! Thunderstorms! Sunshine! Today, we often hear people talk about climate. Meteorologists on the news tell us about cold fronts and high-pressure systems moving in; science teachers explain the mechanics about hurricanes and storms; we hear news stories about how global warming changes our weather patterns. In the Mills Gallery latest exhibition, Control Issues, artists use video art to explore climate. Join us as we learn more about these artists’ thoughts about world weather conditions and as we create our own original artwork inspired by the elements around us!
