Got kids? Check out the kid’s crafts & holiday sing-a-long at Pilgrim UCC. The National Park’s 19th Century Ladies will be sure to entertain with hands-on holiday crafts. Your Theatre presents “A Childs Christmas in Wales” at the Celtic Coffee House (grab a cup of hot cocoa while you’re there!). New Bedford Public Library hosts a crafts workshop, Teddy Bears with the Schwartz Center, to celebrate its 100th Anniversary (there is a $10 fee to participate). The National Park hosts a red carpet event for the premiere of YAP’s latest video “Get Out & Move”. & don’t forget the Ocean Explorium home to seahorses, jelly fish & tonight an ornament workshop!

There are over 15 new & continuing shows to see at our downtown galleries, studios, stores & restaurants including the Judith Klein Art Gallery 2nd Anniversary Show featuring 19 artists, Gallery Xmas members show at Gallery X & artful Holiday Shows at Navio, Crowell’s Fine Art & Artworks!
Talks your thing? The Coalition for Buzzards Bay presents a multi-media presentation about mariners and the night sky with Caption Carl Herzog. Stop by the Whaling Museum for a lecture and book signing with Tracy Tarvers, author of To Rise and Roll. Plus David Boyce will give a lecture in regards to the newest exhibit he has curated---”George Segal: Fragments and Pastels' at UMass Dartmouth CVPA Star Store.
Love live music? Check out the ever popular Open Mic at Cafe Arpeggio. Enjoy the UMass Dartmouth Choir’s Winter Choral Concert at the First Unitarian Church. NBAM hosts Xmas Vibe featuring Charles Xavier, vocalist Marcelle Gauvin, and guitarist Felix Rentschler. Plus Citizen Schools presents Hip-Hop & Spoken Word performances at Gallery X.
Just want to have fun? Stroll by Custom House Square for star gazing with the Astronomical Society of Southern New England. Calico presents A Craft-O-Rama Holiday Pop-Up Shop on Purchase Street. The Indigenous Women’s Handicraft Coop demonstrates weaving techniques in Bristol Hall. Plus Citizens School students will be giving unique house tours at the Rotch-Jones-Duff House & Garden Museum.
