The Wall of Memories (1997 – present) is Professor Vlada Petric’s “artistic testament,” which he has been working on since his retirement from Harvard University in 1997. On the wall, above the desk in his office, Prof. Petric had collected numerous photographs, illustrations, art reproductions, film frames, and artistic souvenirs.

Until his retirement, the wall in Prof. Petric’s office had been decorated with more than 800 items that served as the visual material out of which he has been compositing a digital essay that in its current state is close to three hours long. Thanks to its open structure, though unfinished, The Wall of Memories represents a conceptual/aesthetic unity which, as Professor Petric claims, will remain unfinished.
