Join us for a fun-filled weekend celebration of quilts, old and new! Common Threads will feature a wide array of antique and contemporary quilts that are not on regular view to the public, including quilts from the Peabody Historical Society's collection; quilts created by local guilds and sewing groups; and a selection of award-winning miniature quilts from quilt challenges sponsored by Keep Sake Quilting of Center Harbor, New Hampshire.
This special event will also feature vendors from quilting and sewing shops, heirloom quit appraisals, scissor sharpening, quilting demonstrations, an exhibit of antique sewing machines and other quilting-related items, and children's activities.
