Now in its sixth year, this eagerly anticipated annual event brings 500 - 700 children's book lovers to The Carle. This year's festival, featuring nine artists from the Western Massachusetts Illustrators' Guild, celebrates the creative process and invites children and adults to meet and learn from professional artists.

Activities will include exhibitions of the artists' work in our Great Hall, demonstrations and art activities with visiting artists in the Art Studio, presentations in the Auditorium, and Story Times in the Reading Library. Book signings and a cookout will round out this exciting day of inspiration and creativity.
