Join the Historical Society for fun and educational Colonial Camp! We have lots of great activities planned based on what the family from the Atwood House would do in every day life. These activities will include:

• Learning about the herbs in our herb garden
• Dyeing yarn and then weaving with it
• Constructing a mob cap and a simple apron
• Making ink and using a quill pen
• Learning about the use of trees for making ship masts
• Making your own drum such as would have been used in the militia

Those who attend will be invited to join the Historical Society in marching in the Fourth of July Parade!

The camp will run for four days, June 27 through 30th from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.

The cost of the camp will be $25.00 for children of members and $30 for children of non-members. Snacks are included! Call the Chatham Historical Society at 508-945-2493 for more information.
