The Danforth Museum of Art is pleased to once again present the 4th Annual Harmonie Transverse concert on Sunday, June 12, 2011, 4:00 pm. The concert will feature: London Trio No. 3 by Haydn, Scheherazade by Rimsky-Korsakov, Prelude (Rhosymedre) by Vaughn Williams, Flutes and Vegetables by Jonathan Cohen, and Salsita by Victor Rojas.

Formed in 2002 by flutists who had performed with the New England Conservatory’s Metropolitan Flute Orchestra, the group takes its name from the word Harmonie for wind band and Transverse for side blown flute.

All are welcome to attend.
