The Danforth Museum of Art will host its Annual Juried exhibitions from June 12 to August 7, 2011. Exhibitions include, Off the Wall, Community of Artists, and Picture This!, which showcase new and exciting contemporary work created by artists living and working in New England and beyond. New this year, Picture This!, features original artwork created for children’s picture books.

More than 1,400 works were submitted by 495 artists for the Annual Juried Exhibitions, and the uniformly high quality of work made these shows more competitive than ever.

Come and discover some of the best contemporary art being produced today and have the opportunity to purchase original art work which helps support exhibitions and programming at the Danforth, as well as exhibiting artists.
