Learn about the Jewish New Year, hear stories that celebrate Jewish culture, and then take your turn at making your very own Shofar horn! Craft is best for ages 2+. Story time at 10:30am is free for all ages; $3 fee for craft activity.

Come early/stay late for painting in our pottery studio, The Barefoot Potter, of (discounted) kiddush cups!

Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Taking the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop brings you across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side. Free parking in lot alongside our building or in lot directly across Thoreau Street (in spots facing the street). Ample metered street parking.
