New England artist and colorist, Linda S. Miller, has generously donated her oil paintings of endangered animals to Zoo New England for a viewing. The series consists of more than 25 one-of-a-kind paintings, and features portraits of Franklin Park Zoo’s African lion, Christopher, and pygmy hippopotamus, Cleopatra!

The artwork will be on display in the Children’s Zoo Meeting Barn at Franklin Park Zoo on October 1, 2011 from 1:00-3:00 p.m., and October 2, 8 and 9 from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
.
The paintings are also available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit conservation projects supported by Zoo New England.
