A Taste of New Orleans. Sunday, November 13. Arlington Town Hall. 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM. Celebrate Arlington Reads Together with a free family event filled will delicious treats, awesome music and hands-on crafts.

Presenting Made in the Shade, a one of a kind acoustic group that has entertained audiences worldwide with the exuberant spirit of New Orleans street music. Their unique blend of New Orleans jazz, swing, ethnic folk, and original music delights listeners and dancers of all ages.

The band is co-led by founding members Dan Fox (trombone) and Crick Diefendorf (banjo). Craft projects include an alligator, a model of a French Quarter home out of frosting and graham crackers, a mardi gras mask and an instrument.

You and your family will get a taste of New Orleans with delicious catered bites. All ages welcome. Sponsored by the Russell Fund and the Friends of the Robbins Library.
