Come join master woodcarver Ventura Fabian and his son, Norberto, as they create their hand-carved, hand-painted Oaxacan wooden figures.

Ventura Fabian is one of the most original and well-known woodcarvers in Oaxaca, Mexico. His dancing chickens, strumming mermaids, and drumming cats are known for their humor and whimsy.

The program includes a brief talk and short video about their craft and life in the rugged hillsides of Oaxaca, Mexico. Their carvings will be for sale after the event.
