The representatives of SIMOO bring their Maasai culture to life through traditional songs, dance and storytelling by both educating and entertaining the chidlren. Perhaps most importantly, the event will reinforce that we all are a part of a connected world.
SIMOO uses funding from their performances abroad to improve the standards of living for the poorest Maasai community members and provides educational opportunities to those in greatest need.
SIMOO seeks to alleviate developmental problems through creative solutions to education, improved food and water security, environmental and bio-diversity conservation, women's empowerment, and small business promotion.
In addition, the members of the SIMOO will sell Maasai jewelry to raise additional money for their community. We hope you will be able to join us!
