His exhibit, Ben Frank Moss: Open Sea, consists of eighteen small seascapes that are seemingly abstract, but in reality are carefully envisioned.
A conscientious observer of light and space as shaped by particular time and seasons, Moss uses color, form, and gesture to create oil paintings on paper that evoke an intimate memory of “place.” The lecture is free for Danforth members, and free with cost of admission for nonmembers.
