Opera Favorites
Shubert Theatre Stage
11:30am and 1:45pm
Hear opera favorites performed by BLO Artists on the Shubert Stage.
Performances will include selections from Mozart’s The Magic Flute which opens the 2013/14 season.
BACKSTAGE TOURS:
Self Guided Tours Begin at Door #1 in the Shubert Theatre Lobby
11am, 12pm, and 2:15pm
~ Visit the Maestro, Star, and Chorus Dressing Rooms to see where the cast of The Flying Dutchman prepares for this vocally rigorous production
~ Warm-up your voice with a BLO Artist as they demonstrate singing exercises
~ Learn tricks of the trade in make-up and wig demonstrations
~ Explore the set of 'The Flying Dutchman'
~ Look closer at the props from 'The Flying Dutchman'
~ View the stage from the Stage Manager’s perspective at the Stage Manager Podium
~Take up the baton at the Conductor’s Podium in the Orchestra Pit.
