With a state-of-the-art digital camera in hand, capture Cogswell’s Grant, a 165-acre coastal farm along the banks of the Essex River.
You'll be equipped with all the latest camera gear from Olympus, provided by Hunt’s Photo & Video, and personally coached by Hunt’s technical experts and visiting professional photographers, as you ready to photograph the pristine marshland, rolling hayfields, and beautiful views of the Essex River stretching to the sea.
The landscape at Historic New England’s Cogswell’s Grant consists of acres of farmland with 1728 farmhouse and barn, hay fields, salt marsh, and river frontage.
The views of the salt marsh, the Essex River, and beyond, are beautiful and, as one of the few protected stretches of open land along the Essex River, the historic landscape at Cogswell’s Grant also provides an important and diverse habitat for local and migrating wildlife.
