Herb and Dorothy: Despite their modest means, Herbert and Dorothy Vogel are the most important contemporary art collectors you have never hard of.
He is a postal clerk. She is a librarian.
Their shared passion and discipline defied stereotypes and redefined what it means to be a patron of the arts.
Over four decades, the Vogels amassed their collection of over 4,000 works, including ones by Sol LeWitt, Christo, Richard Tuttle, Chuck Close and Lawrence Weiner.
Light refreshments will be served and there will be an informal group discussion after the movie.
