Admission to all exhibitions and programs is free, including John Singer Sargent Watercolors and the Benin Kingdom Gallery, featuring art from the ancient African kingdom of Benin (in present-day Nigeria).
Programming for all ages ranges from watercolor workshops and drawing in the galleries to performance art by Boston’s Dell Hamilton, created in response to the debate surrounding immigration in the United States.
Berklee College of Music graduates Mmmmaven will demonstrate a cutting-edge music program inspired by the exhibition Hippie Chic.
Additionally, a short film program celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and tours of the Museum’s collection will take place throughout the day.
