That’s the Unconservatory.
This fall, an eclectic team of students banded together to interpret the varied themes of NEC’s Music: Truth to Power festival.
The result is a raw performance that explores the process of engaging in difficult conversations to discover one’s truth.
Through a series of musical vignettes, you will have the opportunity to react to the highs and lows of the process—from constructive dialogue, to anxiety and misunderstanding, right on through to collaborative action.
At the Unconservatory, convention is thrown to the wind—Shostakovich shares the stage with free improvisation, Rzewski mingles with original student compositions, and the audience can finally have their say.
Come join the conversation.
