Maria Rowinska's introduction to bossa nova began at a young age, by listening to 'Elis & Tom' with her father.
Her desire to learn bossa expanded to samba, choro, and other Brazilian styles and led her to Berklee College of Music, where she pursues Latin American performance studies in voice and percussion.
Spectacle Island is a relaxing, 20-minute ferry ride from downtown Boston.
Catch the ferry at Long Wharf North, close to Faneuil Hall and Christopher Columbus Park.

During the summer season, park ferries depart frequently from Long Wharf-North, Boston to Spectacle Island. We suggest arriving at the dock at least 30 minutes prior to departure to allow time for ticketing and boarding. Regular ferry fees apply.
