Saturday, September 6, 2:30-4:30 p.m., Closing Reception for “The Schwamb Mills Artistry and Craftsmanship Today” artwork by local artists from the former Theodore Schwamb Mill.
Featured artists include: Ed Banks, Rick Berry, Christiane Corcelle, Ann Goodwin, Leigh Guldig, Adrienne Landry, Mark Luiggi, Gail McCormack, Ivan Myjer, Kathy Parkinson, Rich Pellegrino, William Turville ,Martha Wakefield, Ellen Wineberg, Wendy Young, and more...
The Old Schwamb Mill is an 1864 oval and circular picture frame factory and now a living history industrial museum listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
Open Tuesdays and Saturdays, 11am-3pm, for guided tours that include a demonstration of the frame-making process, viewing of the current art show in the second floor gallery, and purchase of the Mill’s hand-turned museum-quality frames.
Shopping is available at the Shaker Workshops store in the Mill’s 18th century barn: furniture, lamps, rugs, and unique gift items.
Mon-Sat 10am-5pm.
Mill members receive a 10% discount.
