Halloween costumes welcome!
9:00-10:00a: Community Strengthen and Stretch Class Kids & Adults Welcome.
Easy Stretch and Strengthen Class to help get ready for the day ahead with Urbanity teacher Chris Grimley
10:00-11:30a: Company Class Observation Come watch Urbanity Company dancers take class from a special guest teacher.
11:30-12:30p: Opening Ceremonies We’ll officially cut the ribbon and introduce the community to our new space.
The company and youth company will perform and Board Chair Anmol Mehra will give a grand tour of the studios.
12:30-1:30p: Dance Baby Dance: Open Baby Playground Dance playground for babies under 3 and their families led by Urbanity baby instructors.
2:00-3:00 pm Family Fall Dance Party Autumn-themed dance instruction and party for kids and their adults led by director Betsi Graves.
Participate in a costume contest for kids and adults!
3:00-4:00p: Hip Hop Dance Battle Kids, teens, and adults come learn moves and battle it out in a hip hop jam led by Urbanity's pro dancer Brian Washburn and other hip hop masters.
4:00-5:00p: Art and Community Panel: How to Ignite Change in your Neighborhood through Health, Wellness, and the Arts Come participate in an inspiring panel discussion about igniting the power of everyday people to positively impact their community led by Urbanity Director of Community Programming, Jerusha Aman, and other South End collaborators.
5:00-6:00p: Zumba
Adults of all ages welcome!
Come sweat it out with Urbanity instructor and dancer Wisty Andres.
