She enjoys painting many subjects, the play of light being the unifying theme.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota Law School, she practiced law for many years.
Upon retirement in 2002, she took up painting in a serious way.
Maryann’s work has appeared in various venues including Concord Art Association, the Guild of Boston Artists, Arts/Wayland, the Connecticut Pastel Society and the New England Watercolor Society.

Traditions of Wayland is a retirement community located off Rte 27 in Wayland, south of Rte 20 and just north of Old Conn path. The entrance is opposite St Ann's Church.

- Traditions is on a property that also has public conservation land called 'Greenways'. Bring your hiking shoes and visit the beautiful fields and woods as you walk to the Sudbury river. Bear right at the fork to go to Greenways. It is down the hill.
