This year we are welcoming local author Linda Marshall who will read her award winning book, The Passover Lamb.
Named a Notable Book for Younger Readers for 2014 by the Sydney Taylor Book Award Committee of the Association of Jewish Libraries, Linda's richly-illustrated story follows the tale of Miriam, a little girl who sets out to save one of her family's newborn lambs right as Passover is approaching.
This event is ideal for children ages 6-9, but all children are welcome.
Kosher snacks and Passover activities will round out the afternoon!
Bring your little bookworms, your aspiring artists, your writers, and every child who wants to learn and have fun!
Linda is the author of many other wonderful children's books, includingTalia and the Rude Vegetables andThe Mitzvah Magician.
Her next book,Talia and the Very YUM Kippur, is set to arrive on bookshelves this fall.
In addition to being an author, Linda also loves helping others find their stories.
She teaches English to adult learners, offers testing help in writing and reading comprehension, and can even help YOU write your life story.

This event is FREE and open to the public.
