Enjoy an evening of dance, tours, and art making at the MFA to celebrate Diwali—the Festival of Lights enjoyed around the world by many cultures and religions.Explore three highlights from our collection of South Asian art; watch a festive performance by Chhandika, a Kathak dance group whose swift footwork tells traditional Indian stories; and make art with Sunanda Sahay as she demonstrates the fine art of Madhubani, or Mithila, painting.
