The Stories by Sea art exhibit features work by painters Adrienne Landry and Adrienne Tybjerg.
Adrienne Landry says, 'My paintings are representational still lifes, landscapes, and interiors.
My interest is in things and places that I know and love and that inspire me.'
Adrienne Tybjerg recently received a BA in painting at Massachusetts College of Art, and developed her early style amidst the breathtaking beauty of Muscongus Bay, Maine.
Although her specialty has been landscape and ocean scenes, she has also been working with architecture and enclosed spaces, as well as abstractions.
Her style often involves an exploration of energetically arresting aspects of an otherwise ordinary scene or familiar surroundings.
Her paintings also investigate how light, emotions and evoked memories transform our perception of space.
