In the past fifteen years, two bold leaders have changed the arts in Cambridge.
Artist and architect Wendy Prellwitz was the driving force behind the conception, design, and creation of Maud Morgan Arts.
Meanwhile, as President of Lesley University (2007-2016), Dr. Joseph Moore guided the development and construction of the Lunder Arts Center in Porter Square, and transformed the Arts Institute of Boston into the Lesley University College of Art and Design.
The Spirit Awards 2016 honors Prellwitz and Moore for their idealism, perseverance, and optimism in promoting the arts in our community.
