Children will sing and play on bells and other percussion instruments: Hot Cross Buns, Twinkle Twinkle and other favorites with Atrium's amazing Music Director, Beatrice Affron.
Parents and children will discover how easy it is to read music in a variety of representations, including, of all things, plastic cups!
Before you know it, you and your children will invent your own musical notations that you can manipulate to create and vary your own songs!
'A is for Atrium' is a series of FREE Tuesday morning programs at Atrium School for young children and their parents or caregivers.
The programs are from 9:30-11:00am and will include: the featured program of the month, Tobias Potyranski and his magical Gym Bus, a story with Atrium PreK teacher, Rachel Davenport, songs, art projects, and a nutritious 'nut-free' snack.
RSVP appreciated, but not required to: Sandi Dunn, Director of Admissions, at sdunn@atrium.org or 617-923-4156 ext.
