The Winchester Multicultural Network (WMCN) and the Family Action Network (FAN) will welcome members of our community—and particularly families with children—to join in a celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday on Monday, January 16.
The event will feature a puppet show as well as a display of art and writing by Winchester schoolchildren, a book fair, craft activities and refreshments.
Date: Monday, January 16
Time: 3:30-5pm (3:30-4 crafts and book fair / 4 performance)
Place: Winchester Unitarian Society, Metcalf Hall (Please use back entrance at parking lot.)

“Cardboard Explosion!” brings five original stories to life using nothing but cardboard and the power of your imagination.
With help from the audience, puppeteer Brad Shur transforms simple cardboard shapes into elaborate puppet characters, then brings them to life right before your eyes.
Get ready to outsmart dragons, choose-your-own superpower, and train adorable animal sidekicks in this fun, energetic, participatory show.
