Dance like it’s 1699! Children and parents will not want to miss this fun and engaging introduction to the dance and music of the time of André Campra.
BEMF Dance Company member Caitlin Klinger will introduce basic popular dance and musical forms from the Le Carnaval de Venise and the Baroque period, including a line dance called the Branle (pronounced “Brawl”).
Get up and dance in this lesson for the whole family!
Part Two: 3pm
Scavenger Hunt at the World-Famous BEMF Exhibition Find old and unusual instruments and meet the people who make them—with special prizes and treats for all.
