Watch as Mexican local artists, Manuel Abeiro and Modesto Horta from Tócuaro, Michoacán transform a hunk of wood into a traditional wooden mask using locally-made knives and crude chisels, then join us for dinner and a cultural experience like no other.
The Visiting Artist Program furthers Margaritas Mexican Restaurant’s mission to share its passion and respect for Mexican culture by bringing artists from Mexico into public schools and into its restaurants.
Since the program launched in 1999, Margaritas Mexican Restaurant has brought nearly 40 Mexican folk artists from Jalisco, Oaxaca, Michoacán, Puebla, Nayarit and Mexico City.
