Kennedy Library’s “Nelson Mandela Centenary Celebration” on Sunday, June 17, 2:00 p.m, at Columbia Point in Dorchester.
The event, co-hosted by the JFK Library Foundation and South Africa Partners, will include a public forum on Mandela’s legacy featuring South African lawmaker Max Sisulu, son of famed anti-apartheid activists Walter and Albertina Sisulu, and Max’s wife, writer and human rights activist Elinor Sisulu.
The forum will be moderated by former NPR and PBS foreign correspondent Charlayne Hunter-Gault.
