Inspired by New England’s textile history and its burgeoning technology sector, each work is stitched with wire, incorporating vintage computer circuits and recycled metals.
“The quilt is a very personal image to me,” Anne says.
“My quilts are suggestive of a new aesthetic which combines traditional and nontraditional quilt making.
By working with unconventional materials in this format, I’m better able to reference the world around me.”
Anne’s work has appeared in galleries and museums around the world; one of her pieces is in the permanent collection of the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, NH.
