Tet In Boston is an annual Vietnamese New Year Festival organized by the Vietnamese-American Community of Massachusetts and the Intercollegiate Vietnamese Student Association that every year attracts over 2,000 attendees and over 80 vendors.
The Vietnamese-American Community of Massachusetts located in Fields Corner has the highest population density of Vietnamese people in the United States. With the 50,000 Vietnamese-Americans living in Massachusetts, this tight knit community has 26 official independent associations. We work towards preserving and protecting our culture and heritage for the generations to come.
The New England Intercollegiate Vietnamese Student Association (IVSA) brings together students from colleges in the New England area to organize a range of social, cultural, and educational events. New England IVSA administers the Dreams Scholarship process to provide scholarships to high school seniors from the proceeds of our annual Tet in Boston event.
The success of our new year’s event – our biggest event of the year – is due to the strength of the community in which we serve.
