Following, a panel of local Black artists, curators and space activators, will engage in a discussion on how symbols, public artwork, and community space have been used to maintain a power system of oppression and inequity, within Boston.
Panelists include Makeeba McCreary, Museum of Fine Arts Boston; Greg Ball, KBX Media; Sheena Collier, Boston While Black; Michael Curry, Mass League; and Jha D.
Williams, Mass Design Group.
Together, let's reframe the historical narrative of Our City, to be representative and inclusive of the Black and Brown experience.
