This event will bring our community back together after a year of social distancing, build bridges and create meaningful human connections through art, and promote civic engagement, equitable education, and access to art for all.
The Public Art Walk will feature prominent public art pieces in the Fenway neighborhood, starting at Ruggles MBTA Station, and will conclude with an interactive art-making experience and celebration at the final stop on Jersey Street outside Fenway Park.
Along the route, participants will have the opportunity to engage with existing public art pieces (in person and through a curated mobile phone app), local artists, and community members.
In collaboration with Boston-based artists Rebecca McGee Tuck and Jamaal Eversley, participants will create their own piece of art that will be transformed into a larger, cohesive installation.
Join us on August 28, 2021 for a day of fun and creativity!
