With outdoor events in mind, the festival has deliberately been placed in mid-spring.
Hosted by design-oriented businesses, universities, museums, non-profit organizations, and professional societies.
This year's theme “Boston rethinks design” puts a special emphasis on fields of design that challenge conventional thinking, processes, or materials, but all design-related fields are welcome to participate.
All events are open to the public and most are free.
