Featuring Jessica Bloch, soprano | David Mather, baritone | Bahar Soyoz, piano | Anna Fubini, visual artist & set design La Commedia’s program uses multi-mediums of music and visual art to express the many masks people wear in society today, and the many different relationships people experience while wearing these masks.Whether a happy clown, a sad clown, a care-giver, a person of true love, or a person of mischief; we cling to the stock characters of Commedia and Shakespeare alike, because they are a reflection of our humanity.
This program explores our human themes of love, longing, sorrow, determination, and hope that has continued to transcend time no matter what mask society wears.
An open top shelf bar follows the performance!
