GMF2023 will be filled with a wide range of sounds from traditional to high-energy, eclectic, pop, and experimental, as well as a Global Bazaar representing local artisans and local cultural organizations.
This year's BU Global Music Festival features six artists from Cape Verde to Iran, Ukraine, Malawi, southern France, and New Orleans.
Please invite colleagues, friends, and students to join!
Day of Registration will be available at the check-in area.
Our check-in tables are accessible on the Marsh Chapel Plaza or by 270 Baystate Road on the lawn near the stage.
The BU Global Music Festival is produced by the BU Arts Initiative - Office of the Provost and the Department of Musicology & Ethnomusicology in the College of Fine Arts School of Music, through the Karbank Fund for Global Music.
Additional support has been provided by the BU Dean of Students Office, The Jewish Cultural Endowment at BU, BU Global House, the College of Arts & Sciences Languages & Literatures, and the College of Fine Arts - Office of the Dean.
