Summer Stages Dance Young Dancer’s Program Audition June 3
For aspiring young dancers ages 12-16 seeking professional quality instruction in contemporary dance, Summer Stages is the perfect fit.
Made up of two distinguished youth programs (Summer Stages 2 and Contemporary Dance Intensive), Summer Stages Dance is a 2 to 3-week summer workshop led by some of the area’s most distinguished instructors.
The two-week Summer Stages 2 workshop provides advanced beginner and intermediate-level students with the opportunity to strengthen their technical skills and expand their knowledge of contemporary dance.
The three-week Contemporary Dance Intensive workshop is designed for serious dance students looking for rigorous training in contemporary ballet and modern dance in a supportive, challenging, and non-competitive environment.
All students must audition for Summer Stages, and a placement class on June 3 at 4pm at Concord Academy will determine the best fit for all dancers. Dancers will take part in ballet barre and center exercises as well as modern choreography.
