These workshops are open to everyone and are a fantastic way to prepare for auditions.
Don’t know how to dress for an audition or how to pick your best 16 bars? No problem. Stoneham Theatre’s workshops explore audition basics and strategies. Don’t have a song or monologue? The audition workshops will provide you with a selection.
Seasoned auditioner? Stoneham’s workshops share new tips and strategies for all levels of auditioners.
Stoneham Theatre’s audition workshops are a great way to prepare for its young company Winter Festival auditions or to just “brush up” on your audition skills.
There are 6 workshops in all and each workshop is limited to 16 students, so don’t wait to register. The workshops are first come first serve and fill up quickly.
Stoneham Theatre’s free audition workshops are on Wednesday, October 24th and Thursday, October 25th. Overture (grades 1-3) and act 1 (grades 4-6) are from 4pm to 5:15pm. act 2 (grades 7-9) run 5:30pm to 6:45pm, and act 3 (grades 10 – 12) run from 7pm to 8:15pm.

Stoneham Theatre’s young company Winter Festival shows have also been announced: A Year with Frog and Toad, Honk, and Jane Eyre, the musical. Interested in auditioning? Auditions are Tuesday, October 30th and Thursday, November 1st.
