Fencing in Somerville, near Union square and Inman Square. Come see what the Olympic sport of Fencing is all about and sign up your young fencer for a beginning class.

This open house will demonstrate a class from an 8-week fencing program for 8 to 10 year old girls and boys where you will learn the rules of Sabre, and receive introductory instruction in Sabre. The Bay State Fencers are located at 561 Windsor St., A401 Somerville MA.

Class size is limited to about 12 students. Each student will spend about half the class doing training/drills, and the other half doing actual fencing bouts.

If you are interested in the program after you attend the open house, the session's classes will take place on Monday & Thursday afternoons from 4:00 to 5:00, starting Monday February 5th, 2007 with Coach Nazarenko.

Class Pricing
The price is $175 for the 8 wk session, plus $50.00 for Membership in the USFA which provides liability insurance for your fencer.
