Park & Pedal Official Launch
The launch event will be on Friday July 31st, starting at 7:30am in our flagship Park&Pedal lot location in DCR’s Christian-Herter Park at 1255 Soldiers Field Rd.
Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) Secretary Matthew Beaton and Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) Commissioner Carol Sanchez will say a few words to kick off the event.
Park your car for free and ride your bike into work along the Charles River, or join us by bike!
Amidst the introduction and excitement, there will be:
• FIVE new bicycles given away to attendees!
• Free bike service by Belmont Wheelworks
• Free bagels from Iggy’s Bread
• Free donut holes from Union Sq Donuts

Park & Pedal is a free network of parking lot hubs conveniently located cycling distance from employment centers, allowing would-be car commuters to park for free, and pedal their bike to work, avoiding “last-mile” congestion.
