The New Center for Arts and Culture in partnership with the Office of the Provost at Boston College present Bloomsday Boston 2007.

This day long celebration includes actors, writers, artists, scholars, and bibliophiles taking the stage to read from the one of the most famous book in all of literature, James Joyce’s “Ulysses”. Musical interludes will take place among the readings about Leopold Blooms wanderings through Dublin. A panel discussion will also take place on the evolving relationship between the Irish and Jews in Boston.

Patricia Riggin, Boston College Adjunct Assistant Professor of Theatre is Executive Producer and Charlotte Dietz is Associate Producer of the event.

This event represents the second collaboration between the New Center for Arts and Culture and Boston College. The collaboration reinforces the aims of both institutions to foster creative, thought provoking programming for audiences in Greater Boston.
