On Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. award-winning children's book author Erica S. Perl will be at Wellesley Booksmith to read and sign her new picture book, CHICKEN BUTT! Illustrated by Henry Cole, CHICKEN BUTT! is a laugh-out-loud, read-it-again hit with 2-6 year olds (and waaay up).
Erica S. Perl is a crowd-pleasing reader and kid-pleasing entertainer who gets kids very excited about books and reading. Erica S. Perl is also the author of CHICKEN BEDTIME IS REALLY EARLY and NINETY-THREE IN MY FAMILY (which School Library Journal called 'a comic masterpiece'). Told in two voices, CHICKEN BUTT! is the tale of the familiar face-off between a child's exuberance and a parent's exhaustion.
